Brighton's 'We Are The Mods' Map is a NEW design CREATION of Youngerman's print series WHICH AIMS TO HIGHLIGHT MOVEMENTS IN MUSIC.
The HAND-DRAWN ON AN ORIGINAL a-z mAP OF THE TIME PERIOD features the real roads and landmarks of 1960s Brighton around where the iconic Mod movie Quadrophenia was set (including a handy legend to show where some classic scenes were filmed) but all the streets have been changed to the most popular and famous Mod songs from all eras through to present day.
The vintage inspired map is based on the true region of Brighton as it was, with name changes in the very streets and locations associated with THE film and movement.
Designed to reflect the vintage style of the town from that era - purposefully created off white but with the correct fonts - the print will undoubtedly be a talking point for Mod fans or not.
Approximately 200 Mod songs and names are to be found in this piece.
Each artwork is hand-drawn from an original period map of the region with permission of Geographers' A-Z Map Co. Ltd. 2017.
